- Challenge
-
A supervisory authority required a time-bound change to the safety data sheet (CLP Regulation 1272/2008): in Section 11.1, for every toxicological endpoint, the phrase “Based on available data, the classification criteria are not met” must appear automatically — but only if the product isn’t classified there and the table still contains data. The catch: this could only be modeled cleanly through extensive WWI stack logic.
- Approach
-
Conditional output per endpoint via WWI stacks — matching the H-phrases from Section 2 against the data table in 11.1, including special-case handling for skin and eye irritation (an additional check for existing product-study phrases).
- Result
-
Delivered on time within the authority’s deadline — the phrase appears automatically exactly where the regulation requires it.
