Regulatory Content — from delivery to a live system

Phrases, listed substances, rule sets and WWI templates from content packages don’t flow into SAP on their own. We bring them in cleanly — both initially and on every update cycle.

So your substance classification rests on solid data.

Regulatory Content is what makes SAP Product Compliance actually work: multilingual phrases, listed substances from REACH, CLP, GHS, OSHA HazCom and country-specific regulations, rule sets for classification, and matching WWI templates for SDS, labels and shipping documents. These inputs come from content providers — the best-known one in the SAP world is 3E (formerly Verisk 3E), SAP’s embedded-content partner for S/4HANA Product Compliance since 2019.

But a content delivery on its own doesn’t produce compliant substance data. Phrases need to be imported and reconciled against your existing phrase library, rule sets activated and regression-tested against the current classification, listed substances cleanly linked to identifiers, WWI templates rolled out to the server farm — and all of that again, every time a new update arrives.

Kocak Solutions has years of experience implementing different content providers in SAP — from initial roll-out through integration with customizing and WWI reporting all the way to a continuous update service. We turn content deliveries into living, validated data.

Typical content topics

  • Customizing of content import paths — phrase sets, languages, identifier mapping
  • Initial load of phrases, listed substances, rule sets and property tree
  • Reconciliation between content-provider phrases and customer-specific phrases
  • Activation and testing of classification and compliance rule sets on the Expert server
  • Listed-substance import and linking to substance identifiers (CAS, EC, Index)
  • Roll-out and versioning of WWI templates from the content package onto the WWI server farm
  • Recurring update cycles — regression testing against existing classifications and SDS layouts
  • Running multiple content providers in parallel where hybrid setups are needed
  • Troubleshooting after content deliveries — mapping conflicts, performance bottlenecks, missing translations
