Who we are
SAP Product Compliance — and nothing else.
Kocak Solutions was founded in Heidelberg in 2019 with one clear focus: SAP Product Compliance — and nothing else. We believe the discipline is too complex and too critical to run as a side activity. That specialisation shapes how we work: deep in the detail, continuously close to the module, in a small team with fixed points of contact.
We support clients from industry, technology, chemicals, pharma and consumer goods across every phase — from requirements analysis through customizing and custom development to server administration and content integration. Classic Scenario on ECC and S/4HANA — all under one roof.

What we build, the client should be able to maintain without us.
Clean code, documented customizing decisions, traceable user exits and BAdIs. Lock-in is not our business model.
Reachable after go-live.
Most issues only surface after the first real shipment, the first real migration, the first real audit cycle. That's when we're still around.
Founder & Managing Director
Muhammed Sahin Kocak
Founder & Managing Director · 15+ years of experience in SAP EH&S / Product Compliance
Muhammed Sahin Kocak graduated in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Stuttgart with a focus on “solving complex requirements”, and started his career in 2011 as an SAP EH&S consultant — today SAP Product Compliance.
That systems mindset still shapes every project he works on today — combined with interdisciplinary approaches that deliberately go beyond what the SAP standard provides for.
Game development → Aerospace
For his thesis, he brought raytracing algorithms from game development into aerospace — fully automating the generation of satellite thermal simulations in ESATAN-TMS.

For battery shipment optimization, he developed an algorithm that adapts dynamically whenever the parameters of a shipping unit change as additional cells are added.

From specialist to consulting house.
- 2011 — 2019
Before the founding: eight years of SAP EH&S
Consultant and developer career at an external consulting firm, development of dedicated SAP modules and global in-house responsibility for SAP EH&S at an MDAX lubricant manufacturer.
- 2019
Founding of Kocak Solutions GmbH
Founding of the consulting house in Heidelberg with a clear focus on SAP Product Compliance. First own implementations in tooling distribution and the lubricants and energy sector — including an SAP EH&S ↔ ChemDox interface and automated ECHA Poison Center Notifications.
- 2022
International projects
Initial SAP EH&S implementation with full Verisk 3E content for an international specialty plastics manufacturer, plus projects for a consumer goods group and an international flavours and fragrances group.
- 2023
The team grows
Kocak Solutions grows beyond its founder for the first time. Every project is still run by the same dedicated contacts.
- 2024
Our own S/4HANA system
Set-up and operation of our own SAP S/4HANA system with Product Compliance — first-hand experience, independent of client systems.
- 2024
S/4HANA conversions
S/4 conversions for a pharma and agrochemicals group and a specialty fertiliser manufacturer — analysis of grown EH&S implementations, solution design and data migration to S/4HANA.
- 2025
Product Compliance in SAP MDG
Data model design and functional design for distributing phrases, specifications and dangerous-goods master data via SAP MDG for an international technology group.
